Rederi Ab Eckerö – EUR 88,000,000 refinancing

DKCO advised Rederi Ab Eckerö in a complex EUR 88,000,000 refinancing. The refinancing package included the issuance of a senior secured bond in the amount of EUR 62,000,000. This was Rederi Ab Eckerö’s inaugural bond. In addition, we acted as sole legal counsel in the simultaneous refinancing of Rederi Ab Eckerö’s existing loans from Svenska Handelsbanken, Pensionsförsäkringsaktiebolaget Veritas and Merimieseläkekassa in an aggregate amount of EUR 26,000,000 as well as in the related termination of state guarantees obtained in the summer 2020.
